Chris Bird receives award
On Wednesday 14th April, the Morson Group celebrated its office move to Centenary Way in Salford. Following the move in January 2010, we felt the time was right to invite employees from across the country for an open evening where they were given the opportunity to see the new Head Office building. The evening also recognised Morson employees' service achievements and allowed Morson International and Morson Projects to integrate in a relaxed, non-work atmosphere.
The evening began with music from Jenny Sawdon as employees from both Morson Projects and Morson International were greeted with free drinks. This was followed by a speech from CEO Ged Mason before ‘Length of Service' awards were distributed. Recipients were presented with champagne and a personalised gift by Manchester United star Ryan Giggs. They included:
•· Recruitment Manager Neil Greenwood - 10 years
•· Receptionist Sue Armitage - 10 years
•· Recruitment Consultant Jason Krause - 10 years
•· Self Billing Assistant Janice Ford - 10 years
•· Payroll Clerk Maureen Johnson - 20 years
•· Payroll Supervisor Sue Borg - 10 years
•· Payroll Clerk Chris Bird - 10 years
The evening continued with Cole Page's jazz band livening up the amosphere as employees enjoyed a choice of hot meals.
An enjoyable evening was had by all who attended - and there was plenty of cake left over for those who missed out!
