Manchester-based Morson International has tackled Old Trafford in a charity football tournament for its employees, clients and some special celebrities to help raise funds for the Manchester United Foundation.

One of the leading technical engineering solutions companies, Morson put together four football teams mixed with clients, employees and celebrities including Ralph Little, Hollyoaks and Coronation Street lads and the legendary footballer, Bryan Robson, to create a mini-tournament with four teams battling to land the charity cup.

Following a knock-out format with two semi finals it was a fight to the finish, with Ralph Little's team demonstrating they had the skills to walk away with the cup.

Formed to celebrate 50 years of Manchester United playing in Europe, The Manchester United Foundation aims to motivate, educate, and inspire young people to build a better life for themselves and improve the communities they live in.  Through football, The foundation delivers coaching, skills training, personal development and life changing experiences to provide young people with opportunities to change their lives for the better and encourage them to develop as players and more importantly as people. 

Paul Moogan, Morson's Business Development Director, commented: "We had a fantastic day, not only did everybody have a great time but we raised £10,000 for the Manchester United Foundation, which is what it was all about.
