The Morson team are awarded their trophy
MPACT-Thales, the consortium responsible for the Manchester Metrolink extension, recently held their inaugural 7 a-side charity football competition at Trafford FC football ground. Morson International were invited to take part in the event which raised money for MPACT's chosen charities St Ann's Hospice and Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Morson joined 7 other teams including Thales, Ennis and Laing o Rourke and were crowned champions winning 2 out of 3 group games and winning a semi final to go on and beat Ennis 3 - 1 in a well contested final.
the MPACT charity shield was presented by project director Bryan Diggins, and will remain with Morson for the next 3 months, after which we look forward to defending our crown!
