Recipients of awards
Morson celebrated its 40 year anniversary in style on Saturday 7th March with a party at the Deansgate Hilton Hotel, Manchester.
The evening began at seven o clock where guests were treated to a drinks reception before being lead to the function room. Key 103's Mike Toolan opened the event followed by an impressive aerial dance display.
The three course meal was accompanied by Tony Martin singing popular swing songs to get everyone into the celebratory spirit of the evening!
After the meal, CEO Ged Mason and MD Kevin Gorton presided over the awards ceremony where Morson employees were recognised for their length of service and for their personal achievements with awards such as ‘Best Recruiter', ‘Best Branch', ‘Most Improved Branch' and ‘Chairman's Award for Contributions to Morson'.
Ged delivered a rousing speech before presenting the company's 40 year celebration DVD, which detailed the Morson story from its small beginnings to its position as the UK's No.1 Technical Recruitment company.
The dance floor began to fill as Will Mellor kicked off the after dinner entertainment, singing popular favourites including ‘Mustang Sally' before rock band ‘Bogus Brothers' took over and kept the party going until 2 o clock in the morning (though the truly dedicated stayed on until 6am!)
Special guests included Ralph Little, Will Mellor, Alan Halsall, Michael Le Vell and Anthony Qunian.
A fantastic time was had by all and it was the perfect way to celebrate Morson's 40 year milestone.
