Morson International are proud to announce our official charities for 2009: Leukaemia Research and Seashell Trust.
Leukaemia Research is the only charity devoted solely to researching a cure for all kinds of leukaemia. They receive no government grants which means their research depends entirely on donations. In order to sustain their research, they must raise £100,000,000 over the next 5 years.
Seashell Trust provides residential and educational care for people with complex communication difficulties. It is split into three sections - Royal School Manchester: a day and residential school for 2-19 year olds with severe and complex learning difficulties. Royal College Manchester, an independent specialist college for 19-23 year olds and Griffin Lodge, a residential care home in the community.
Seashell Trust aim to:
•· Provide a happy and secure environment
•· To provide alternative communications systems
•· To realise individual potential
We hope our fundraising in 2009 will be even more successful than 2008!
