Ricky Hatton, sponsored by the Morson Group PLC, has announced he will face former World Lightweight Champion Jose Luis Castillo in Las Vegas on 23 June.

Following on from his victory against Juan Urango in January, Ricky is due to fight Castillo at the Thomas and Mack Center in his bid to claim the unofficial title of the Undisputed Light Welterweight Champion.

Billed as one of the biggest fights of the year, the winner is expected to fight the victor of the Floyd Mayweather and Oscar de la Hoya contest in May in an end of year super-fight.

Ricky Hatton, (born October 6 1978), is a professional boxer born in Stockport, United Kingdom and is currently the IBF and IBO light-welterweight champion of the world. He is also the former undefeated WBU and WBA light-welterweight and WBU welterweight champion.

On 5^th June 2005 he beat Kostya Tszyu, who was widely regarded as one of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world, by technical knockout.
