Graduate Recruitment Specialist

In partnership with their worldwide dealer network, our client drives positive and sustainable change on every continent. They are the world•s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines and industrial gas turbines.

They currently have a requirement for a Graduate Recruitment Specialist.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Recruitment Team Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for Graduate and Placement recruitment across the company. This will involve the creation and on going development of a UK Graduate and Placement Recruitment Programme.

This role could potentially be based at Peterborough, Desford (Leicestershire) or Larne, Northern Ireland.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure that all graduate and placement vacancies are filled on an annual basis through liaison with Business Unit Directors, Line Managers and HR Managers.
- Develop job/person specifications in conjunction with the hiring manager.
- Place adverts- both internal and external.
- Carry out initial pre-screening of candidates and recommend a shortlist to managers.
- Development of appropriate selection activities for vacancies, e.g. telephone interviews, interview guides, assessment centres, group exercises, role-plays, presentations etc.

Key Skills/Requirements:
- Ideally a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, with a CIPD qualification.
- At least 3-4 years of recruitment experience, preferably within the graduate sector.
- A skilled interviewer and very confident presenter.
- A proven track record of developing and maintaining professional working relationships, both within a recruitment team and with customers.
- Candidates must be prepared to travel across the UK as part of this role (i.e. to careers fairs and assessment centres).

Salary: £22,000- £23,000 dependant upon experience

Duration: Permanent
