Job Description

In partnership with their worldwide dealer network, our client drives positive and sustainable change on every continent. They are the world•s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines and industrial gas turbines.

They currently have a requirement for a Supplier Improvement Manager.

Location: Desford, Leicestershire

Job Description:

The successful candidate will lead Supplier Recovery plans for selected suppliers in support of achieving improved parts service availability.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Communicating performance expectations to supplies and driving adherence to those expectations.
- Identification of the root causes of performance gaps and facilitating a team based approach to corrective action.

Candidates must be prepared to travel, including some international trips.

Key Skills/Requirements:
- Strong experience of working with dealers/ suppliers within a Logistics environment.
- A background within the automotive sector would be an advantage.
- Experience of Project Management and 6 Sigma.
- Knowledge of Material Planning or Expediting.

Salary: £14.47- £20.82 per hour

Duration: 6 month contract
