CNC Turner

Our client, a prestigous motorsport company, currently requires a skilled CNC Turner for a fixed term contract until the end of the year. The role will be working nights (Monday to Thursday - 38.5 hours)

The main responsibilities for this role are to manufacture components to supplied drawings. This encompasses programming setting and operating multi-axis computer numerically controlled machining centres.

The successful candidates will also be required to set and operate more than one machine tool, maintain programme and tooling records for all components produced and liaise with the management and production engineers to maximise the efficient running of the machine tools. Maintaining a shift handover record with other shift based employees in the machine shop will also be required.

The ideal applicants must have experience in programming, setting and operating CNC turning centres with driven tooling. Furthermore proven experience of manufacturing precision components preferably within a motorsport environment or similar, together with knowledge of ISO and conversational Computer Numerical Controlled machinery is advantageous. Knowledge of Mazak Mazatrol Control Systems is desirable. They should be flexible team players with good communication skills and a professional attitude.
