Fixed Networks - Morson provide the full range of BT related telecom skills to support exchange and external jointing works within the UK PSTN network. Morson can mobilise telecom project support teams across the UK. With access to an active candidate database of BT accredited engineers Morson is able to recruit specialist teams for assignments within both the exchange domain and also the local loop, even at short notice. We have fixed network experience in the following environments: Frame Relay, PSTN, , MAN’s, SDH, VoIP networks, ATM, IP and VPN. The Network Elements we cover include: Management Systems, Switching, Transport The Network, Signalling, Access and Billing.

Wireless/Mobile Network - As the principal supplier of wireless/mobile telecom skills including both PCN and Microwave technologies to the UK's wireless communications community, Morson can support maintenance, supervisory, installation and commissioning operations at over 2300 sites through the provision of specialist engineers and supervisory management teams. We have experience with 2G, 2.5G, 3G – GSM, TDMA, CDMA, UMTS, TETRA and PMR, with network elements experience including BSS, RAN, MSC, MMSC, NSS, OSS, MGW Core Network, Billing, VAS & IN and Charging Systems.

Highways Communications - Morson support major upgrade and new technology roll outs within the UK's highways authorities. We have current experience in supporting the demand for introducing Fibre and IP based skills to the traditional ‘Copper’ networks on our roads.

Rail Communications - A natural extension of the Morson rail capability is the support of Rail telecommunication operations within the safety critical domain. Here striking the effective balance of providing telecom skills within a safety critical operational environment is an area that Morson can conduct.

Case Study - TeleCityRedbus is a pan-European co-location and service provider to the IT and telecommunications sectors. They provide a complete outsourced network management solution to their clients through their network of highly specified sites. As TeleCity (pre Redbus merger) expanded their network of sites across Europe, it became vital to successfully identify and hire key staff members, such as Operations Managers and Sales Managers, in each country. Problems included: difficulties with the existing network of suppliers who had limited or little experience recruiting abroad and suppliers not having the necessary market knowledge to identify the correct individuals; instead, they relied too heavily on advertising response.
