Interim Results 2009
Morson (Aim: MRN.L) the UK's leading provider of technical contract staffing, supplying over 9,000 highly skilled personnel to the aerospace and defence, nuclear and power and rail industries, is pleased to announce its preliminary results for the 6 months ended 30th June 2009.
Highlights
Solid trading performance across all sectors
Turnover up 3.7% to £219.9m (h1 2008: £212.0m)
Net fee income up 2.2% to £18.1m (h1 2008: £17.7m)
Adjusted operating profit^ down 7.2% to £6.2m (h1 2008: £6.7m)
Operating profit up 7.3% to £5.5m (h1 2008: £5.1m)
Adjusted profit before taxation* down 4.9% to £5.4m (h1 2008:£5.7m)
